Happy 2014 everyone!! This is the time when everyone starts fresh and sets new goals for the New Year. I am here to help you have a healthy and wonderful year. Lets make it a great one! I want you to start the year off right by following my favourite healthy habits and making them a routine in your lifestyle. I hope you add these healthy habits to your daily routine!
Healthy habits:
- Get 7-8 hours of sleep every night
- Start your morning off with warm lemon water
- Dry brush everyday before shower (post to follow)
- Eat as much organic produce as possible…when not available follow the dirty dozen
- Eat fresh greens everyday
- Eliminate processed foods from your diet
- Drink water all day long, aim for 2-3 litres
- Slow down while eating and enjoy your food!
- Stay active everyday (walking, gym ect.)
- Add more yoga to your life (even if it is a quick 10 minute sequence in the morning)
- When feeling overwhelmed or stressed have a de-stress bath
- Eliminate toxins for your beauty products- check the toxicity of your current products at http://www.ewg.org
- Take time everyday for yourself!!
