- Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate- your body is made up of 70% water so it needs water to function properly
- Start the day with a nutritious breakfast
- 8 hours of sleep every night- you need to allow your body time to reenergize for the day ahead
- Ditch the coffee- it may give you a boost of energy but that boost is followed by a crash. Switch to green tea which prevents the crash
- Cut out processed white foods- this causes your blood sugar to drop and makes you ready for a nap!
- Get off the couch and get movin’- 20-30 minutes a day is all it takes to give you an instant energy surge
- Start your day with warm lemon water- this kick starts your digestive system
- Get outside for a breath of fresh air and some vitamin D
- Eat a diet rich in fruits and vegetables
- Plan ahead- every morning I write a to-do list for the day ahead. This keeps me motivated and keeps me working away to finish my daily goals
